Build a healthier start for Arkansas families

This 3-day hands-on training* is designed for Arkansas CHWs who support individuals and families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Topics include:
- Focus on mom: Pregnancy, labor, and postpartum adjustment
- Focus on baby: Infant feeding, care, and safety
- Lifelong and reproductive health
- Birth outcomes in Arkansas
- Perinatal trauma, abuse, and neglect
What to expect:
- Three full days of interactive learning
- Led by experienced CHWs and perinatal experts
When: Wednesday, June 10-Friday, June 12

This upskill training is provided in collaboration with the Center for Community Health Alignment. This training will be submitted to ARCHWA for specialty track recognition, and upon approval, participants may be eligible to apply for specialty knowledge recognition with ARCHWA.
