Perinatal CHW Training Enrolling Now

Build a healthier start for Arkansas families

This 3-day hands-on training* is designed for Arkansas CHWs who support individuals and families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

Topics include:

  • Focus on mom: Pregnancy, labor, and postpartum adjustment
  • Focus on baby: Infant feeding, care, and safety
  • Lifelong and reproductive health
  • Birth outcomes in Arkansas
  • Perinatal trauma, abuse, and neglect

What to expect:

  • Three full days of interactive learning
  • Led by experienced CHWs and perinatal experts

When: Wednesday, June 10-Friday, June 12

Where: UAMS Institute for Community Health Innovation (2708 S. 48th Street, Springdale, AR 72762)
