The Republic of the Marshall Islands Ministry of Health & Human Services (MoHHS) and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) are proud to jointly share a quarterly update of the Jaruki Ejmour Eo Mokta Faith-Based Diabetes Self-Management Education (FDSME) Study.
The RMI FDSME team has completed screenings and enrollment for the 4th and final year of the study. Classes have begun for the first group which includes members from UCC Rita, Delap Marshallese Pentecostal Church, 1st Marshallese Assembly of God, and Makkije Kitwon Jitob Kwojarjar in Ajeltake. The second group will start immediately after in March of this year to include members from 1st Bukot Nan Jesus church in Delap, UCC Ejit, LDS churches in Jenrok and Laura.
